I purchased the Flourish and Thrive oils for my mum as part of her birthday gift this past May, and I am so glad I did. My mum has very fine hair and has thin locks. For a long time, she had been seeing locks specialists to have them tightened and twisted but unfortunately, this was putting too much tension on her scalp and only made her hair thinning worse.
Over the past couple of years, we’ve tried various other hair growth specialist products including Botana oils, but nothing ever seemed to work. I eventually came across Nylah and although they are an investment, I decided they were worth a try.
My mum has been using these products for nearly two months now, and to be honest, we are finally seeing a difference. There is visible new hair growth at the front, and the hair feels stronger and slightly coarser, which is exactly what we were hoping for. Her scalp seems to be thriving. She has also been using the foam wash, which she is quite happy with. I also use this foam wash for my braids and it’s a refreshing and easy replacement from my usual shampooing.
We just received our second order of the Flourish and Thrive oils today, as the first set lasted mum roughly two months. If you are struggling to find a solution for thinning hair, I would definitely say these are worth a try. So far, so good!

I started using the Thrive and Flourish serums in January 2026. I very quickly saw the changes in new hair growth in areas where I was experiencing hair loss and thinning. After initial trial of the duo and seeing how well they worked, I now have a subscription orders. I also use the shampoo, conditioner and superseded hair balm.

I highly recommend, my hair has been a constant struggle as I entered into my 40's. I first knew of Nylah products when I watched the pitch on Shark Tank, I always support black businesses, as we can be successful also especially with genuine products that works. I am forever going to be a Nylah customer.

Both items have a lovely smell unlike other products I have bought in the past where the smell is very unpleasant and leaves a stickiness in my hair., which makes me not want to use them ever again. These two products from Nylahs are the opposite and I will continue to use them to achieve my goal to have growing hair. At he moment I cannot say if my hair is growing, because I am taking medication, but my hair feels a lot thicker.

I currently can’t any major difference. However, I love the cool and tingling sensation of Thrive on my scalp, and the refreshing minty aroma.

I can see and feel a change on my hair line. I would say be consistent and you will not be disappointed.

I've been using both serums for about 2 weeks now and have to admit that I've not noticed a difference yet. Not sure why both serums are needed as they seem to do the same job. I will update this review after I've used the items for 8 weeks, which I've read is the amount of time needed for a difference to be visible.
